Hubungan antara Penerapan Compliance Hand Hygiene dengan Kejadian Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs)
Abstract
Latar Belakang: Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs) adalah suatu infeksi yang dihubungkan dengan layanan kesehatan di sebuah fasilitas kesehatan. Kejadian HAIs meningkatkan angka mortalitas dan morbiditas pada suatu fasilitas kesehatan. Tindakan hand hygiene menjadi salah satu strategi pencegahan kejadian HAIs.
Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penerapan compliance hand hygiene dengan kejadian HAIs.
Metode: Jenis penelitian menggunakan observasional analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional. Metode pengambilan sampel dengan consecutive sampling yang terdiri dari dua kelompok tidak berpasangan. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji assosiatif non parametrik dan uji korelasi non parametrik.
Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan jumlah pasien positif HAIs dengan compliance hand hygiene lebih sedikit dibandingkan dengan non compliance hand hygiene. Hasil uji assosiatif non parametrik dengan chi-square test didapatkan nilai p 0.019, dan hasil uji korelasi non parametrik dengan contingency coefficient didapatkan nilai r 0,391.
Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara compliance hand hygiene dengan kejadian HAIs dengan keeratan hubungan yang lemah.
