UU Kesehatan Nomor 17 Tahun 2023: Omnibus Law yang Mencerahkan Mutu Pelayanan Kesehatan?

Abstract

Perjalanan regulasi kesehatan Indonesia memasuki babak baru dengan terbitnya Undang-Undang Nomor 17 Tahun 2023 tentang Kesehatan, sebuah omnibus law yang menggantikan tiga UU Kesehatan sebelumnya dengan cakupan jauh lebih luas . Editorial ini mengkaji sejauh mana undang-undang tersebut mencerminkan komitmen pemerintah terhadap mutu pelayanan kesehatan, dengan menggunakan kerangka The Chain of Effect dari Berwick untuk menganalisis bagaimana intervensi regulasi di tingkat makro dapat mendorong perbaikan pelayanan klinis di tingkat mikro.
