Menjelang 30 Tahun Akreditasi Rumah Sakit Di Indonesia: Kemana Arahnya?

Mutu pelayanan dan keselamatan pasien merupakan tantangan sistem pelayanan kesehatan global, termasuk di negara berpendapatan rendah-menengah. Tantangan ini juga dihadapi Indonesia dengan jumlah rumah sakit yang terus tumbuh untuk perluasan akses pelayanan kesehatan. Akreditasi merupakan penilaian eksternal organisasi oleh sebuah lembaga akreditasi, yang kemudian menghasilkan pengakuan publik terhadap kepatuhan organisasi tersebut dalam memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan. Keberlanjutan akreditasi akan sangat bergantung pada bagaimana posisi akreditasi dalam menjaga relevansinya di masa mendatang. Sistem akreditasi rumah sakit diharapkan dapat senantiasa beradaptasi untuk meningkatkan fokus bagi pelayanan pasien serta kebermanfaatannya untuk menurunkan biaya dan meningkatkan luaran klinis.
